A Storm is Coming…

STYFL Opening Day

This year I have the honor of following a great group of young men , the STYFL Junior High Special Forces. The team has looked really good in all the scrimmages so far, but this coming weekend is the season opener against the a team from Anthem, which is probably one of the toughest opponents on the entire schedule. But the Forces have some talent, some speed, some size and a great group of dedicated coaches that have been honing these young men into football player so I think it’s going to be one heck of a game. Can’t wait.

Sunset Reception
Sunset Reception

The Forces trekked out to Casa Grande this weekend to put some of their first week’s of training to the test with the first scrimmage of the season. From my seat in the sidelines, I was REALLY surprised at how strong this team looked after just a couple of weeks of training together. Looking forward to some great games this year shooting under the lights – can’t wait.

Had a great weekend at Madera Ranch with the Special Forces Jr. High Tackle Football team. Coaches filled the agenda with a lot of drills, team building and just plain fun. It was exciting to think the football season is right around the corner, and from the looks of this group of young men, there’s going to be some great football played. Can’t wait!

backflip composite

I don’t know it’s the mohawk that makes them do crazy things or doing crazy things that makes them get a mohawk. Kids today do some pretty amazing things on a bike or a board, if your kids are into extreme sports, why not hire 10framesasecond to capture those moments of pure insanity – you know once they grow up they’ll look at pics like this and wonder what the heck they were thinking! Xtreme portraits – take a bit more gear and planning to pull off but the results are worth it. 1 hour sessions start at $275 and include creative post processing and a 16×20″ print of your favorite shot of the session.
So whether it’s BMX, skateboards, or Motocross – call us today to set up your session.

Picking flowers with an Angel

April 8th, 2010

Taylor was more interested in chasing the Spring Bloom than taking portraits with her family, so we went with it and captured some really sweet moments. Of course, once she had her bouquet, she was ready to show it off in the family portrait.

Tapia Family Portrait Session

Had a wonderful time shooting the very photogenic Tapia Family on location this weekend. The Superstition Mountains provided a beautiful backdrop that no studio setup could produce and I think we got some really spectacular results. Spring in Arizona is a wonderful time for outdoor location shoots such as these.

Interested in capturing the beauty of Arizona in your Family Portraits? Contact us to arrange a location session of your own.
