Are You Seeing What We’re Seeing?

Color Test

At 10framesasecond.com a lot rides on our ability to accurately assess the color and tones of the photographs we produce, so we pay special attention to our monitor calibration and viewing environment. All of our monitors are routinely hardware calibrated at a gamma of 2.2. It’s not important for you to know what all this means but what is important, if you a want to view pictures in the gallery as we see them here, is to be able to distinguish a difference (no matter how small) between all the grayscale squares above. If several squares at either extreme are all one color, this can typically be fixed by adjusting your monitor’s contrast setting to 100% then adjusting brightness either up or down to find the best setting.
