This weekend, some of the Nation’s Top shooters came out to Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club in Mesa, AZ for the Superstition Mountain Mystery 3 gun Match. This year RSSC also hosted the 3 gun Nation Shootoff which pits competitors side by side, each with the same course of fire and the same equipment. When the buzzer sounds and the smoke clears the first one with all their targets knocked down is the winner – sorta like the sport shooting version of drag racing. Worked a very blessed event this week. While I don’t shoot weddings I do shoot other church events and the same gear that lets me freeze high speed sports lets me shoot indoors discretely without flash.
Had a great time today with St. Anne’s Little Flower Montessori School Spring Olympics. I’ve never seen a ‘clothes race’ before but that had to be the funniest event there – haven’t laughed that hard in a long time.
