Vipers and Panthers face off in week 5 of the season. Tough game for the Panthers as the Vipers really played well, finding the goal enough times to put a mark in the win column.

The Avalanche faced the Red Lightning this week for a very hard fought game. It was so exciting I found myself watching more than shooting! But in the end it was the Red Lightning that ‘struck’ the net more times and won the match.

Now that the fields are dry, it time to get our ‘game on’. Avalanche and Orange Crush put on a great show. Many close calls but only this flying shot from the Crush found the net and turned out to be the winning shot.

A beautiful day for a soccer game – and what a game it was. The Pink Panthers battled the Titans for game 4 of the seasons. The Titans were quick to put the first ball into the net but Panthers wouldn’t rest ’til they got one of their own. And thats exactly how this ‘clash with the Titans’ ended – in a tie – what a match up!

The Lavender Lions squared off against the Pink Panthers for Week 3 of the GYSA girls U9 division. And square off they did, as the two teams were pretty evenly matched and got very physical with the game play. Defense was outstanding and ultimately lead to the 0-0 tie when time ran out.

Man, Ryan was bummed to that the game was rained out this week. What made it even worse was watching his sister play since their fields were one of the few that weren’t flooded. Oh well, there’s always next week…

What an awesome game – the teams were well matched and were in a deadlocked heat for most of the game. Eventually the Gilbert Galaxies got the winning shot when a penalty kick found it’s way past the Avalanche’s goalie.

The Panthers came on strong this week, and really ran hard putting 3 in the net and taking an early lead – one of those was our Aly’s first goal ever- yeah Aly! But the Vipers also had a strong game and in the end came out on top with the victory. Great Job girls – as always click on the picture to see more.

Wow! This is the first time for us playing boys soccer, and not to take anything away from the girls, but these boys play an aggressive game! Very exciting and I’m sure going to enjoy taking some great action shots this season. Team Avalanche put one in the ‘Win’ column for the opener – Great job boys!

The Pink Panthers and Lightning hit off the season opener with a great game. While the Lightning had the upper hand, and the winning score, all the girls played well. Looks like its going to be a great season! I had to cover 2 games at the same time so there aren’t as many pics a usual, but I think there are a some nice shots in there.
