I love rematches, it really lets you see the progress the kids have made during the year. And to this extent the Galaxy really shone, scoring 2 goals quickly in the first quarter. But team Avalanche wasn’t just relaxing all season either, they’re improvement was really evident by their constant pressure on the Galaxy goal and kept the ball in their field for the majority of the game and also scored 2 goals.

But the Galaxy’s coordinated attacks were too much for the Avalanche goalies, giving them the final victory.

What an awesome game – the teams were well matched and were in a deadlocked heat for most of the game. Eventually the Gilbert Galaxies got the winning shot when a penalty kick found it’s way past the Avalanche’s goalie.
