First off, I want to thank Coach Craig for a great season with the girls and HIS efforts in getting the team posters out to each of them. I love rematches, it really lets you see the progress the kids have made during the year. And to this extent the Galaxy really shone, scoring 2 goals quickly in the first quarter. But team Avalanche wasn’t just relaxing all season either, they’re improvement was really evident by their constant pressure on the Galaxy goal and kept the ball in their field for the majority of the game and also scored 2 goals.
But the Galaxy’s coordinated attacks were too much for the Avalanche goalies, giving them the final victory.

Had the pleasure of shooting Madisyn’s little sister, Haley today. She happened to be playing the field next to one the Panthers were play in. Remember, if you have another child playing and would like some shots of them just ask when you see me or shoot me an email, if I can fit it in the shooting schedule I’m happy to do it.

Well the Panthers came back from break ready to play… They kept the pressure on the the Ice Breaker’s goal most of the game and got a couple through. It was a great game in some excellent Spring weather.
Hope everyone had an enjoyable Spring break. While it was enjoyable to relax and not have to rush off to any games, it’s great to be back watching the kids do their thing. And do their thing they did – the boys put on a very energetic game with some very exciting moments at the goal. The game ended in a tie. Well done guys.

Vipers and Panthers face off in week 5 of the season. Tough game for the Panthers as the Vipers really played well, finding the goal enough times to put a mark in the win column.

The Avalanche faced the Red Lightning this week for a very hard fought game. It was so exciting I found myself watching more than shooting! But in the end it was the Red Lightning that ’struck’ the net more times and won the match.

Now that the fields are dry, it time to get our ‘game on’. Avalanche and Orange Crush put on a great show. Many close calls but only this flying shot from the Crush found the net and turned out to be the winning shot.
A beautiful day for a soccer game – and what a game it was. The Pink Panthers battled the Titans for game 4 of the seasons. The Titans were quick to put the first ball into the net but Panthers wouldn’t rest ’til they got one of their own. And thats exactly how this ‘clash with the Titans’ ended – in a tie – what a match up!
The Lavender Lions squared off against the Pink Panthers for Week 3 of the GYSA girls U9 division. And square off they did, as the two teams were pretty evenly matched and got very physical with the game play. Defense was outstanding and ultimately lead to the 0-0 tie when time ran out.
