The Eagles close out a perfect season with a tough win over the Tigers.  One of the tougher opponents of the season, the Tigers athletic secondary put some serious hurt in the Eagles aerial game pulling in several interceptions to put them in a scoring position several times during the game. However, the Eagles solid goal line defense would keep the Tiger’s from converting those turnovers into points on the board.

This was one hard fought game, and both teams should be proud of how they closed out the season – Well done boys!

A well played game for both teams – 63 plays also says alot about how organized and well coached each of the teams were.
It was windy so this is best viewed with the sound off – Enjoy

The Eagles continue their winning streak with this week’s win over the Buffalos.  The Buffalos were a tough bunch of kids and executed well but as you can see from this picture, the Eagles were just on fire today and really elevated their game – I guess with last week’s rain they put 2 weeks worth of energy into their play this week.

Rained Out!

Doesn’t take much rain to scare off Arizonans – So some light sprinkles today kept our kids off the field and looking forward to next week.

The Eagles and Sharks meet on the field for the second week of the Season. Unfortunately for the Sharks, the Eagles were flying high – scoring early and often. Their offense was unstoppable. And the Eagle’s defense didn’t leave anything on the table either, forcing several turnovers and picking up a few interceptions kept the door closed for the Sharks.  Quite a game.

That’s about the only way to describe this game – HOLY COW was this a physical game. I could hear the sweet sound of shoulder pads ‘popping’ from the side lines. It’s always hard to take pictures when the games are this good.
The Pitbulls definately had some big boys on their side blowing up the line and laying out a couple of the Spartans. But the Spartans weren’t going to take it laying on their backs and stepped up the physical element of the game and put some major heart and effort into finding that End Zone. And find it they did, several times in fact to allow them to move their record to 5 – 1.

Like I said before, What a game. There were some excellent athletes and well executed plays by both teams. Big hits, great runs, spectacular catches – it was one of the more entertaining games I’ve shot in a long time and the pictures show it. It’s unfortunate that in games played this hard someone has to loose but the Spartan’s came out on top of this one to put their record at 4 – 1. Again excellent game boys!
