The Eagles close out a perfect season with a tough win over the Tigers. One of the tougher opponents of the season, the Tigers athletic secondary put some serious hurt in the Eagles aerial game pulling in several interceptions to put them in a scoring position several times during the game. However, the Eagles solid goal line defense would keep the Tiger’s from converting those turnovers into points on the board.
This was one hard fought game, and both teams should be proud of how they closed out the season – Well done boys!

We head to the Pee Wee field for the Winter Season. And for the Season Opener, the Eagles faced off against the Tigers. While the Tigers appeared to be a well seasoned young crew putting the points on the board early, the Eagles put up a heart filled fight – but in the end the Tigers’ experience lead them to victory.

Like I said before, What a game. There were some excellent athletes and well executed plays by both teams. Big hits, great runs, spectacular catches – it was one of the more entertaining games I’ve shot in a long time and the pictures show it. It’s unfortunate that in games played this hard someone has to loose but the Spartan’s came out on top of this one to put their record at 4 – 1. Again excellent game boys!

The Chargers came into week 6 with a bit of a size disadvantage, but that didn’t phase them. This picture sort of sums up the match up as #14 Giovanni Baez, one of the Chargers smaller players, what he lacks in size, he more than makes up for in tenacity as shown here, laying the ‘stiff arm’ and pushing by the Tiger’s ‘big-guy’. #21 of the Tigers was definitely a dangerous weapon and could have easily made this a one sided game but it came down to the Charger’s well organized Defense that shut down several key running plays that allowed them to ultimately hold on to the lead. Excellent game boys!
