Their Defense look just as good but good blocking and some great play calling enabled the Eagles to move the ball equally well and get some points on the board. These little guys seem to get better every week – its really fun watching them progress – so much so, I forget myself, and start watching instead of taking pictures.

Week 3 finds the Wildcats meeting the Spartans on the field, and once again the Spartans Defense was on fire, keeping the Wildcats out of the endzone. The Wildcats’ defense also did a good job up front, pluging up any holes and shutting down any hope of running the ball up the middle. But you can only stop what you can catch and that’s where the Spartan’s speed was able to get around to the outside and take 2 to the ‘house’ for win. Great Game guys.

WHAT A BATTLE! Tied at 6-6 for much of the game, these kids really played their socks off, some of the best execution I’ve seen all season both defense and offense – for both teams. I really regretting arriving late in the second quarter from shooting soccer. I can only imagine the excitement I missed.

I did manage to make it in time to see Chargers game ball winner, #7 Kyle Stroh, use his ‘crazy legs’ to juke his way into the end zone. And my favorite player, #1 Ryan Shaffer putting the ‘hurt’ on the Wildcats Offense with some Monster sacks.

Great game boys!
